graphicAmericInn Motel is located at the intersection of Hwy. 36 and Cty. W, south of Waterford. This relatively new hotel offers a swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, and complimentary breakfast.

The Linen & Lace Bed & Breakfast, located three miles east of Hwy. 36 at 26060 Washington Ave. (Hwy. 20), is a 1900-era farm-house that has been restored and decorated in French country style. The 4.5-acre property features exquisite gardens in season.

In 1899 Waterford was a different place than it is today. The lumber mills had been converted to grist mills. The surrounding area was dotted by small farms and woodlands. The area’s natural beauty was enhanced by the village’s thriving commercial area.

Today Waterford is a quiet, classic, small (but growing) midwest town. It has retained much of its local charm and history.

Come and enjoy being pampered, because you are special; you deserve the extra attention.
